Port Townsend is accessible by land, sea and air (via Seattle). We are a ferry ride and an hour's drive from Seattle, or an hour and a half drive from Tacoma. We have two good marinas and are a great destination for sailors. The Point Hudson Marina is adjacent to downtown and has lots of transient moorage.
Dancers coming from Vancouver, BC or Bellingham can use the Keystone – Port Townsend ferry (30 minute crossing). Reservations can be made at https://business.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/reservations/ . An alternate route using the Edmonds-Kingston ferry takes longer but does not require reservations and may be more reliable in stormy weather.
